⏳ Data Retention

If you have not enrolled or engaged with us for a period of 12 months from the date of your enquiry, your data may be removed from our active records. You may also request deletion at any time (see Section 9).

- Legal Compliance — We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority under the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking technology on our website that shares your personal data with external platforms.
Cookies & Website Analytics
We use two measurement tools on this website, and we would rather describe them plainly than in general terms.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. Google sets its own cookies to do this and processes the data on our behalf. Our own measurement. We also record how this website is used, so that we can tell which explanations are working and which pages people give up on. This information is stored on Google Firebase and is visible only to us. For each visit we record:
About the visit — which pages you opened and in what order, how long you spent on each, how far down each page you scrolled and how quickly, which sections held your attention, and whether you left and came back.
About what you did — which buttons and links you tapped and in what order, whether you began filling in the enquiry form and how long you spent on each field, whether you sent it or abandoned it, and whether you opened WhatsApp. On a desktop computer we also record which broad areas of the screen your mouse moved through, and moments that suggest frustration, such as tapping the same thing repeatedly.
About your device — device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language setting, and connection type. We do not record your name, telephone number or email address here; that information reaches us only when you choose to send us an enquiry, and it is covered by Sections 2 and 3.
We also store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage — a count of your visits and the list of pages you have seen — so that a returning visitor is not counted as a new one. It stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
What we do not do. We do not record what you type, other than the enquiry form you deliberately submit. We do not record text you select or copy — we used to, and we stopped. We do not sell this information, share it for advertising, or use it to follow you to other websites.
You can stop all of this. Blocking cookies and site data for this website in your browser settings, or using your browser's private mode, prevents both Google Analytics and our own measurement from recording anything. Some parts of the website may behave differently if you do. You may also ask us to delete what we hold about you using the contact details in Section 12.

Privacy of Minors and Young Learners
Voice of Visions Academy welcomes learners of all ages. However, if the student is under the age of 18 years, the enquiry must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian on their behalf. This is enforced by the form itself: when an age under 18 is entered, the consent notice changes to a guardian declaration, and the enquiry cannot be sent until that declaration has been accepted. A person under 18 cannot give this consent for themselves.
We store the exact wording of the consent notice that was on screen at the moment it was accepted, along with the date and time and the version of that wording, so that we can show precisely what was agreed to rather than what our current notice happens to say. You may request a copy of that record, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details in Section 12.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18 years without the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe that a person under 18 has submitted information to us without that consent, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt action to remove the data.
